3. Expand the VirusScan Enterprise policy on the right panel.
4. Tap the“Edit” option that is available next to“Access Protection Policies”.
5. Tap“Access Protection” tab and uncheck the box saying“Prevent McAfee services from being stopped”.
6. Click “Apply settings”.
7. Send a wake-up call to the agent to apply the necessary changes, or wait for the next policy enforcement to take place.
8. Now close the “ePO console”.
9. Continue to Step 2.

Step 2– Run the frminst.exe /forceuninstall command:

1. Click “Start” on the device from which you want to remove the McAfee agent.
2. Type one of the following commands to carry on with the process.”c:\Program Files\Network Associates\Common Framework\frminst.exe” /forceuninstall
   Or

“c:\Program Files\McAfee\Common Framework\frminst.exe” /forceuninstall

3. After this, the computer will restart automatically. If the computer fails to restart itself, then do it by yourself.
4. Now your McAfee Agent can be installed once again.
